CASE FILE — OPEN FOR BOOKING · CENTRAL IOWA

Somebody's
lying at
your party.

The TruthBomb Experience brings a real interrogation setup and a live wire-cutting countdown challenge to your next party. Your guests ask the questions. We turn up the pressure.

LIVE RESPONSE MONITOR 00:00
Awaiting first question…
HOW A SESSION RUNS

Four steps to chaos.

01

You write the questions

Host or the group submits yes/no questions ahead of time — as juicy or as tame as you want. We run the session, you write the script.

02

One guest, one chair

Each "suspect" sits down and gets wired up while the rest of the party watches the monitor and waits for a reaction.

03

We ask. They squirm.

Your interrogator (that's us) works the room, pushes on the good questions, and lets the group weigh in on every answer.

04

Verdict, then next suspect

We call it — truth or deception — the room erupts, and the next guest takes the chair. Repeat until everyone's exposed.

EXHIBIT A & B

Two ways to raise
the room's pulse.

Book one, or run both back to back for a full night of interrogation and controlled panic.

EXHIBIT A — THE INTERROGATION ROOM

The Interrogation Room

A professional-grade biometric monitor, a hot seat, and a spotlight. We hook up one guest at a time and run through the yes/no questions your group submitted — reading their pulse, breath, and sweat response live on screen while the room watches every twitch.

  • Real equipment, real readings. Not a toy — an actual biometric response rig, the same kind of technology used in professional testing, repurposed for maximum party drama.
  • Live monitor for the whole room. We cast the response trace to a screen or TV so every guest can play judge and jury.
  • Your questions, our delivery. Submit questions ahead of time or hand us a jar of them on the spot — we adapt the interrogation to the crowd.
  • An actual interrogator. We play the part — calm, relentless, a little theatrical — and work each guest until the room gets its answer.
  • Built for groups of up to 12 per two-hour session; larger guest lists just mean more suspects in the queue.

A note on how this works: this is an entertainment experience, not a certified forensic exam, and results are read for laughs, not admitted anywhere. It's not appropriate for employment screening or legal use — just for finding out who really ate the last slice.

EXHIBIT B — THE DEFUSAL CHALLENGE

The Defusal Challenge

One guest faces a ticking device covered in switches, wires, and modules they cannot make sense of alone. Everyone else has the manual — but they can't see the device. Nobody can touch what they can't see. The timer doesn't care.

  • Fully immersive headset defusal. One guest at a time straps in and sees the device up close in VR while teammates shout instructions from the printed manual.
  • Nobody else sees the headset view — which means the room only hears the panic, not the puzzle. Great for spectators.
  • Rotates fast. Each attempt runs 3–8 minutes, so a big party can cycle through a dozen "defusal teams" in one booking.

Best for groups that want the full spectacle — headset, cable-free movement, and a crowd that can't stop laughing at whoever's sweating under the goggles.

  • Same tension, no headset. The device is projected on a screen or laptop instead of VR — easier to set up in tighter spaces and works for players who get queasy in headsets.
  • Great for teams and tournaments. Run several devices side-by-side and time squads against each other.
  • Fastest setup of the two formats — ideal as a second activity alongside the Interrogation Room.

Best for smaller venues, backyard setups, or when you want to run the challenge as a friendly bracket between teams.

DEBRIEF

Questions, answered.

Is this a real lie detector test?
We use genuine biometric response equipment, and the readings you see on screen are real — but this is built and run as entertainment. It's not a certified forensic exam, isn't admissible anywhere, and shouldn't be used for employment, legal, or medical decisions. Treat every "verdict" as party theater with real data behind it.
What space or setup do you need?
For the Interrogation Room: one chair, a nearby outlet, and a TV or wall to cast the monitor to (we can bring a screen if needed). For the Defusal Challenge: a clear 6x6 ft area for VR, or just a table and a screen for the 2D format. We'll confirm specifics for your venue when you book.
Who submits the interrogation questions?
The host, or the whole group — however you want to run it. We recommend collecting questions ahead of time so we can pace the session, but a last-minute jar of questions works too. We'll flag anything that seems like it'd genuinely embarrass or upset someone before we ask it.
Do guests have to say yes to being recorded?
Yes — if you add Case File Video or the Confession Booth, every guest who's on camera signs a quick, plain-language consent form before we start recording. Nobody's filmed without agreeing to it first, and footage stays private between you and your guests.
How far in advance should we book?
2–3 weeks is comfortable, especially for weekend dates during Iowa State home game weekends and the holiday season. We'll always try to work with shorter notice — just ask.
Is this appropriate for all ages?
The core experience is best suited to guests 16 and up, since the fun leans on adult humor and mildly personal questions. We're happy to tailor the question set and tone for younger or mixed-age groups — just tell us on the booking form.
